Each year, Illinois Parks & Recreation magazine selects feature articles that have appeared in the magazine for special recognition. In 2006, it chose "This Thing Called Branding," a primer on branding basics by Terracom's Christine Esposito, to receive the Best Marketing Article Award. (The article has also received a Gold MarCom Creative Award.)
Christine received the magazine's award at the annual conference of the Illinois Association of Park Districts and the Illinois Parks & Recreation Association. Along with client Geoff Deign of WRD Environmental, she attended the conference as co-presenter of an educational session called "Cost Savings & Good PR Through Ecological Landscaping."
